When my sister, Rosemary Mendoza, referred you to my mom and I, little did we know that you would be able to help us in such a manner that you exceeded our expectations!

I was sure that I had too much debt to own a home, but you worked magic with your numbers, and made it possible to me to finally become a homeowner.

I have rented for my entire life, and never thought that I would possibly be able to own a home, but you made the possibility come true. I am so happy now to realize the dream of being a homeowner.

Hi! Jim and I are moving to Hawaii!! Jim has taken a position with Kaiser to assist them in an expansion of their hospital on Oahu. It was an opportunity we just couldn’t pass up!! We have leased our condo in San Clemente and have tentatively rented a 1 bed/1 ba cottage on Kailua beach. I plan on obtaining my real estate license in HI, but it’s even more competitive there – our landlord tells me there are 3 real estate agents on my street!

Thank you for all you have done for us – I hope you know that if we ever do need a loan, we will use you!

I've been selling real estate in high volume in the San Gabriel Valley for over 20 years. Having that experience I feel qualified to recognize a good loan broker when I see one, and Manuel Corral certainly qualifies as a good loan broker.

I would like to take this opportunity to correspond my feelings in my purchase of my first home.

Being 47 years old and having never owned a home before, this was a brand new experience for me. I was introduced to Manuel Corral and his staff by realtor, Damian Herrera. Upon meeting Manuel, he immediately put me at ease about the process and that I was about to embark on.

Manuel and I established a great rapport with one another and that alone made this purchase far easier than I had anticipated. After my initial meeting with Manuel and his staff, it was time to look for a home. Although tedious at times, I finally found a home and in the price range that I was comfortable in. Now the process of getting the financing began and that is when I was able to see just how great Manuel and his staff really are.

I'm writing to thank you for your remarkable work you did for my wife Marcela and me. As you know, I was only supposed to interview with you as a requirement on the sellers contract to pre-qualify for a loan, though I already had a lender. The first time we stepped into your office I thought you were going to try to sell me on using your services instead. To my surprise, despite my loyalty to my lender you were very professional throughout the whole interview without using a sales pitch. As our meeting progressed I was so impressed with how you educated us on loans (that my lender had not taken the time to do) that I was sold on using your services instead.

Above all of that, we had some pretty big hurdles that we had to overcome on my credit. I thought that we weren't going to qualify. Despite these hurdles, you kept pushing and worked hard to find a way. You said that if we got this house it would be a miracle and indeed it was. Wow, what a month it has been…I cannot tell you enough how grateful we are to be working with you and your team. You are critical to us making our dreams a reality and we really appreciate it.

I have attached a recap of ‘our story’, for you to share with your other clients, we are living the American dream and here is how we made it happen. Always feel free to give your clients my name and number if they want an in person reference, I am always happy to share what I have learned.

Several years ago my husband and I realized that we had new found wealth in the form of equity in our primary residence; this is the only time in our lives we received something for free….yippee…... It was incredibly tempting to refinance our home and take that money to buy a nice car, or take an extravagant vacation but we decided it would be in our best interest to make this money work for us and protect our future – you just never know what may happen.

We met with Manny (who had previously helped us with our home loan) to discuss our options. During this meeting, Manny agreed that the best way to leverage our equity was to reinvest it in real estate. Homes in CA are very expensive but I was not interested in purchasing out of state so we began looking for an investment property in our local area.
We purchased two condominiums in Alta Loma and rented them both out. The rental income almost covers my monthly expenses, and we do have to contribute a little each month. At the end of the year when we file our tax returns, we qualify for depreciation on the properties and end up recovering more in a tax refund than we lay out each month – I love that...

We recently met with Manny again to review our financial position and again decided to refinance our primary residence and use the equity we built to finance another purchase.

We just closed escrow on a 4plex located in Upland, all the units are currently rented and the income is enough to cover my monthly payment, I will have to pay the property taxes out of pocket but look forward to getting a big tax refund next year.

Oh, did I mention that Manny and team processed the refinance and new loan in 11 business days, is that a world record?

In the past two years we have purchased three additional properties at a price of $1, 236,000.00 – the condo’s have already appreciated and we purchased the 4plex below market, the fair market values of my properties equals 1,395,000.00 – that is $159,000 in equity in less than 18 months, this puts a big smile on my face.

Manny and the associates at GEM are a vital part of my team – I have very high expectations of the people and companies I partner with. The GEM Team has always exceeded this.
